About
There's something truly profound in living for the moment — but remembering those moments is one of the best ways to learn, grow, heal, and feel things again and again throughout life. There's also something to be said about the risk-and-reward aspects of life in relation to cause and effect. As an EMT, I'm acutely aware of the cause-and-effect irony that parallels the concepts of risk and reward. The way I've come to see it: every moment in life holds the potential for great reward, if you're only willing to take the risk. And knowing the consequences fully but taking the plunge anyway is its own reward — because you felt that fear, knew the risk, and met it with complete resolve.
